Dear Swim Team Organizer, My name is Leigh Ann Gregg. I am the Area Coordinator for ASSE International Student Exchange program for all of North Texas. I’m writing to you to ask for your help today. We have almost 100 students that still need to be placed for the 2014-15 school year. Our students come from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and even a few from Africa. These students are the cream of the crop from their home countries. They study hard and are involved in their communities. Now they are eager to experience life in the USA, and see how we do life. We are looking for active host families that will welcome these students with open arms. Host families provide room, board, and transportation to and from school. Students come with their own spending money and medical insurance. Host families will have the help of an Area Representative throughout the year to make sure things go smoothly. We have many students that are swimmers at home and are anxious to keep up their skills and continue competing once they arrive here. My request of you is that you would share this amazing opportunity with the families on your team, and welcome our students into your community.
